Dorchester Ghost Walk
Back in 2009, we worked on a pilot for an interactive ghost tour of our local town or Dorchester.
This was put on the backburner whilst we tried to work out an interesting way to engage the public with the idea of taking tours using their smart phones as a guide.
Since then we have been experimenting with QR codes. These are the strange black and white ‘static’ like symbols you may have seen on posters and ads more and more frequently.
These images can be used with a smart phone and a freely available downloadable app, so that people can take pictures of the QR code and be linked to a number of different types of online content.
With this in mind we have produced the sticker below which we have surreptitiously stuck at the start point of the tour, with a hope that people ‘in the know’ may happen upon it and take this spooky little tour. As well as a cool thing to do, we are beginning to use these codes more and more in our work, we would love to find a creative way in which to spread your message using them. Get in touch.

About:

Revolting is a small studio with great big ideas.

Ideas that they realise in the form of branding, brand application, print based communications and creative and cost effective print management.

Some of the best ideas require the help of talented and creative friends. Revolting always look to work with the very best to provide exciting photography, video, audio, copy-writing and web & multimedia solutions.

"Not being able to do everything is no excuse for not doing everything you can."

Revolting specialise in working with Educational, Arts, Charitable and Public Sector organisations. For these clients, as well as for most people in today's climate, there is a great need to make every penny of their budget work for them. With this in mind, Revolting always look for creative ideas that give value for money at the same time as striving to minimise any environmental impact.

Revolting work with you, not for you. They get to know you and help you discover what it is you are trying to say. They then find the right idea to say it, an idea that will get you seen, heard and understood.
